How are the prayer times calculated?

For Türkiye, the times are taken directly from the official calendar of the Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı, to the minute, for all 81 provinces. For other countries they are calculated daily with that country's official method.

How does the site know my city?

When the site opens, your city is detected automatically from your internet connection — no permission prompt, nothing is stored on our side. You can always pick a different city from the list; your choice is remembered on your own device.

Which source is the Qur'an read from?

The Qur'an tab displays the official mushaf page of the Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı; the text is Diyanet's own publication.

Are the hadith authentic (sahih), and where do they come from?

The hadith section presents the Kutub al-Sittah — the six canonical collections led by Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Texts are the Arabic originals and English translations as published on sunnah.com, with a verification link and the scholars' gradings under every narration. Other translations are computer-generated.

Who writes the fatwas?

The fatwa archive is carried over, with attribution, from the Vahdet-i Kübra archive; every answer links to its original source. The answers are general guidance — for personal circumstances, consult a qualified religious scholar.

What is in the Sirah section?

The Sirah section presents the life of the Prophet ﷺ as a timeline of fourteen stations, from his birth in 571 to his passing in 632 — the first revelation, the Hijrah, Badr and Uhud, the conquest of Makkah and the Farewell Sermon.

How many languages does the site support?

The interface and the Qur'an translations are available in 20 languages, including Turkish — use the language menu at the top right. Fatwa, sirah and scholar articles are translated automatically into your language.
